Rooms for Thought
There has been great deliberation (from me) (internally, not on here!) about whether to change to another host for my blog, now I've been playing around with one place in particular and last night i gave up. I think what I was trying to do was to make something that wasn't going to work, work! There are great positives to this site but also a negatives and I feel that I have now grown a new found liking for Blogger and its ways! Its not the cool kid on the block, but it sure as hell serves me well!
Anyway the reason for this post is that I have finished my new blog hope you like it.

Elliott Kember
This guy has just produced a nifty piece of software that means all those office folk that love the twitter, can use it at work without the worry of a boss giving you a right bollocking.
What could be better when the work load is getting to you and all you want is to waste the company time consuming all those interesting Tweets!
Seeing as it was Jon Smiths tweet that brought this to my attention it only seems fair to have a link to his agencies site, they look pretty cool, definatly worth a looky loo.
Enjoy

Hottest new game to hit the market
If I was a gamer, I would don the anorak, grab the tent and rush down to game station, in waiting for the launch of this compelling new experience that simply takes the best part of a shootem' up game and offers it to you on a controller shaped plate.
Must have this April!

404 error with attitude, computers with emotions, what is going on...
This is what a depressed error in a server feels like, listen to it, it needs an ear to bend.
IS the iphone beatable?
Rumour has it, Nokia are releasing a swivelly, rather nifty (in their opinion) new model that will come up against the new version of the iphone. Nokia in my opinion are better served trying to attack the CrackBerry market; they have a pretty good operating system (I've had nokias since i was 13, I've always been happy) that could take on the business phone come "Life, on Blackberry" giant. If they try to take on the iphone, they will no doubtably loose, and will do this with style!
I suppose we will see, who knows, anything can happen in the phone industry these days.
Unfortunatly for nokia, unless they release a mobile that is also a hip flask I will be transfering to Blackberry in November, sorry guys you lost a loyal customer.

Axe online
Th Axe effect has now gone all skittles, sorry I mean Modernista! Wait! which one did they copy! Its a nice platform for connecting with your audience but for the true originallies its a fake, it has been done and will continue to be copied no doubt. Shame they couldn't add there own twist to it all.

Nike ARE cool
Nike are simply, really cool. They are really doing well online and I don't just mean Nike+. The new Nike Troupe battle has just come out in Europe, where hip hop dancers (they probably don't want to be called dancers! But you get me!) can design their version on NikeiD and then enter them into the digital battle, the shoes that come out on top then win their version printed and 300 euros. Not bad, me thinks, wish I could dance like that!
MINI BAR; anyone?
A new bar is opening in Amsterdam soon, with the aim of cutting ques for drinking. People hand in their passport or driving license when they enter and are given a key and a bucket of ice. The world is then their oyster! Or at least the Mini bar they have just got is! (see below) They get their own fridge, and drink what ever they like from it. Seems like a good plan, beats waiting for 15 minutes (if your lucky) to get a drink at the bar! And its another reason to go over to Amsterdam for a couple of days.

Why not send a friend a message that sounds a little different that usual
This new site is a nice way to send a voice message, with a Bush head on a space suit or a circus type fellow, why not record your voice and send it to a friend.
On the other hand, is this just adding to the mindless drivel that seems to be produced for "Online entertainment?" Don't get me wrong the people who created Easier than Reading know more about computers than I do, having said that, you would have hoped that they could have put their skills to better use!
Its another one of those things that is nice for about 30 seconds, then your bored and back onto Facebook! Truth hurts even the speaker!

A junkies heaven
This I just saw on the Science museums twitter account, looks like some one has too much time and too much paracetamol, but never the less it is still commendable for the amount of effort that much have gone into creating a Castle Shaped Pill Pile! Worth its wait in pills, literally!

Why be an entrepreneur, when you could do this
As we are in the full swing of the recession, what better way to earn so extra change that renting out some of your unused space. The new company on the market; "Spare Ground" offers you this exact opportunity. Why not gain something from that extra parking space, or the end of your garden, that is over grown, and never touched, or even, become a landlord for a while and use that spare room for what is was designed for... a person!
See what you think.

Zumbox; could be the death of the Post Office
This is a new site, unfortunately only based in the U.S. but still is quite interesting; it is a completely online mail box service, where you can send mail via street addresses and it sits online in an account for them. could be the death of the Post Office!
Check, Check it!

Ping is the new thing... I think!
WOW, this is a new site to me, not sure if it is a new site in general but thought I would post it as I could be off some help to some people. It is essentially, social networking made lazy!! The site lets you update all forms of social networking at the same time that way it gives you more time to try walking backwards for a day, or read a book on a roundabout, who knows what we all get kicks out of but this at least gives you more time, that is not spent on facebook and twitter!!
See what you think

How to make a remote more effective
In the heat of a recession, when most people are spending more time at home instead of out and about, you might find you are in the same situation I have found myself in. Why is it remotes have sooo many buttons, are they really necessary? Probably not! So here is someone else's attempt to fix the problem. You would think that with the way technology is going since the birth of the ipod and its minimalistic following someone would have sorted this by now!

Wow, now there is something i didn't realise was available for the Blind
This, I just found on another blog, and
I thought, well I don't think I ever thought
about this until now, or at least I'll think
about this as long as this post takes to write!
Bath Blogger puts it quite well
"How do blind people consume porn?"
well Bobs your Uncle and your Father:
Porn for the blind
Interesting.

Creative Juices
I realise this has been around for quite a while but i forgot to mention it when it came out, it is 2am and I'm missing the old home county. I remembered this and it brought a big smile back to my face!
Sometimes it easy to get caught up in market shares and brand sector analysis', so it is always good to stop. step back, look around and remember why we are here, what we feel we want to achieve and whether or not, what we are doing is in line with this or not.
Anyway enjoy this because it made me happy to watch!
Come on Somerset!

Capitalising on the 'V' Day!
Why not capitalize on the the commercially started day! Although there is capitalizing and then there is sticking a bloke on a billboard, see whether you think its an extreme waste of time or a romantic way to express your feelings for your partner!
Also, mastercard ads have always been some of my favorites, (although not so much after you have seen them 60 times!) but this is not up to par. In my opinion its ok, but not great, and for mastercard, only the great should be produced

T7Flondon, Mentioned by Online Trend spotter; "Springwise"
Whilst i was at T7flondon, on work experience last year, they were working on a project for Harman Kardon, (the speaker company.) T7flondon created an online presence for HK that was more a branded utility than anything else. The url is www.amplifiedjourneys.hk and the concept helps users put music to their journeys; think google maps spliced with itunes.
Advertising by association is a great way to increase awareness of a brand, as well as offering consumers another use value that can be attached to the umbrella encapsulating what HK offer. Crisp, effective and innovative, the only issue is the load time. See what you think...
Also worth a look www.t7flondon.co.uk
Coke goes nature based. Well Why not
Coke; sticking to its strategy, but choosing a new tag line, has created a nice little nature based animation, its Bugs life meets global corporation. Beats the British army adds that just try to force you into joining; through exciting imagery, misdirection and manipulation (99.9% need not apply!) Not sure why I am targeting the Army with insults, maybe it is how their ads make me feel!

Apolgies for stealing but this is sick.
This I just saw on Flo Heiss' blog, I didn't think barclay card could top the TVC but this has to be better, in so many ways. The awareness I suppose is already there so it makes the Viral that little bit more effective. Consider though, that this must have been one of the best Virals to be part of the filming, lucky guys
Bring it on Durex!
I believe that this is not actually that new, but this is the first time I have seen it; all I can say is, Bloody hilarious!
Zumba, is it really going to be that amazing
The Newest revolutionary advancement in the phone industry is claimed to be the Zumba phone, which is going to be the first ever totally hands free phone. Looks a little budget, but seems like its got the potential to be incredible.
Only issue i would have with it, is its ability to be able to write a text for you when you speak the message, only problem being, I mostly use texts because I don't want everyone to hear what I am saying! This could be interesting!
Snow, glorious Snow, Cold Feet and hot chocolate

Sex Sells
Why can't we got back to the old times when sex sells, it works. Although all those accidents in the US due to the "Hello Boys" campaign probably wouldn't agree its such a good thing!

Here a really great site a friend of mine showed to me. Not 100% sure what it is all about as i don't speak much German, but it is worth waiting for the loading time to clear through and then watch it.

WHODUNNIT! was it you?
Great awareness campaign that illustrates our human ability to be directed to look a certain direction with out being told to do so, and thus miss key things that change.
